i was planning to do a birthday party on 8/8/09 Saturday.
my birthday is on 14/8 which is on Friday.
if i celebrate on that day, i think quite a number of people cannot attend and if come, they wont stay for long.. because they still work on Saturday..
but on 8/8 (Saturday) my parents going to watch their friend's singing competition.
They ask me to do on Friday or Sunday..
well....
I think i'll cancel the party.

Maybe they are just too excited bout the singing competition and they have no control of the date of the singing competition but they do have control or say over their son's birthday party.
Cheer up.
Maybe they would not mind staying til late for your birthday. After all it is your 21st!
